Saturday I got a chance to hang out with the Gufs at their rehearsal as they get ready for their CD Release show Friday October 6th at the Pabst Theater. The Guys in The Gufs gave me an advance copy of their new CD Different Sea, it will be available October 17th. I really like it. Their 7 year wait was definitely worth the wait. The song has a lot of really optimistic songs that at first listen you like the more you listen to them you're like wow that's a good song, and as you listen to them again and again you think wow this is some really interesting music.
